This November we invite you to personalise and plant your own poppy tribute in honour of someone you may have loved and lost, and in recognition of what others have given and sacrificed for us all.
Bring friends and family together to celebrate the lives of Service men and women and help raise much-needed funds, as we share a moment of personal reflection on a sociable 3km walk.
Walk together, remember together, and plant a poppy in our Field of Poppies together.
Poppy Walk is a sociable event giving us the chance to pass on history and learn about the work the Royal British Legion does in the area and how it’s helping the Armed Forces community and their families right now.
You’ll receive a wooden poppy tribute that you can personalise with a message for a loved one or with words of remembrance. Once you’ve crossed the finish line together with your poppy tribute, we’ll plant our poppy tributes to create a Field of Poppies. After the event everyone’s poppy tributes will be added to the thousands of personal tributes at the Field of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum – a tradition that has continued for over 90 years.
