RIAT24, the largest Airshow in the world is in full swing currently in the Cotswolds and The Red Arrows proudly flew in ahead of their weekends dazzling displays with a Giraffe on Tour sitting in the cockpit with Cpl Jessica Ware from Grimsby who joined the RAF in 2005 as a mechanical technician.

Giraffes on Tour is dedicated to the memory of Louise Conway and her favourite toy, Geoffrey the Giraffe. Sadly Louise passed away on 9th February 2013, but her memory lives on in the adventures of Giraffes on Tour and to raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

To date Giraffes on Tour have raised an amazing £63,000 for Great Ormond, by people not only donating, but purchasing GOT Merchandise including the famous Giraffe himself. which you can purchase along with other merchandise HERE. The giraffe Geoffrey represents Louise where those who purchase one photography Geoffrey in some pretty amazing places, including the cockpit of a Red Arrows! Geoffrey has become the must have cockpit item for pilots around the globe.

Thus cute cuddly toy has flown in one of the 51 Tigers Schleswig Tornados during the NATO Tiger Meet in 2023 and even with the 493rd FS Reaper F35A in formation with 495th Valkyries F-35!

Land Sea and Air, Geoffrey has been on some amazing adventures, on land, Geoffrey has tread the boards on stage in Agatha Christies Mouse Trap at the Royal & Derngate theatre here in Northampton to trekking the Great Wall of China, Sea Geoffrey has completed not, one, not two, but three Atlantic crossings in a rowing boat and in the air, it just doesnt get better than being in the cockpit of a Red Arrow!
